RECEPTION 2025 INTAKE 

Our Open Evening for prospective parents for the September 2025 intake will take place on the 6th November 2024 from 5.30 pm - 7:00 pm . 

Booking is not required , everyone is welcome.  

Headteacher's address will be at 5.45 pm.

Applications can be submitted from 1st September 2024 - 15th January 2025

If you wish for your child to be considered for a place at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, you MUST list St Mary’s as one of your choices on your Local Authority On-Line Admissions Form. Havering School Admissions . This should be the first step of your child's application process.

You are strongly advised to put more than one school choice on your on-line form.  St Mary’s is usually oversubscribed and you may not get your first choice of school. 

Once you have made your application on line through Havering Admissions,  you will need to complete a Supplementary Information Form for St Mary's. (If you are applying for more than one Catholic Primary School, you will need to complete separate Supplementary Information Forms for each school you are applying to). 

The deadline for forms and supporting documents to be submitted to us is 15th January 2025 at 3:00 pm 

All completed Supplementary Information Forms for St Mary’s Catholic Primary School should be  

e-mailed to admissions@stmcps.co.uk along with scanned/photos of the following supporting documentation: 

• Child’s Original Birth Certificate  

• Child’s Baptismal Certificate/Membership or Reception  

Proof of address :  Two examples needed ( one must be a Council Tax Statement (for the current year) 

 and one of the following:   

•       Driving Licence (photo) 
•       Bank Statement (must be dated within the past three months) 
•       Utility Bill (Gas/Water or Electricity ONLY and must be dated within the past three months) 

Please note: if the image is unclear, we may ask you to produce the original document for our records. 

Applications from Catholic families no longer need to be supported by a Certificate of Catholic Practice 

The school will issue you with an e-mail receipt which should be kept for your records. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

If you wish to apply for a place at St Mary's School , but your child already attends another school, you will need to apply directly to the local authority:

You will also need to complete a Supplementary Information Form for St Mary's and return it along with supporting documents by email to admissions@stmcps.co.uk
