RECEPTION 2024 INTAKE 

We were delighted to welcome so many families to our recent Open Evening for prospective parents.

If you were unable to attend but require an application pack, please call into the school office and pick one up.

Admission information.

If you wish for your child to be considered for a place at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, you MUST list St Mary’s as one of your choices on your Local Authority On-Line Admissions Form.  You are strongly advised to put more than one school choice on your on-line form.  St Mary’s is usually oversubscribed and you may not get your first choice of school.  If you are applying for more than one Catholic Primary School, you will need to complete separate Supplementary Information Forms for each school you are applying to. 

All completed Supplementary Information Forms for St Mary’s Catholic Primary School can be  

e-mailed to admissions@stmcps.co.uk along with scanned/photos of the following supporting documentation: 

• Child’s Original Birth Certificate  

• Child’s Baptismal Certificate/Membership or Reception  

• Certificate of Practice from a priest or reference from a minister of religion 

• Proof of address – Two examples needed: 

 one must be a Council Tax Bill (for the current year) 

 and one of the following:   

Driving Licence (photo) 

      Bank Statement (must be dated no earlier than 14th October 2023) 

 Utility Bill (Gas/Water or Electricity ONLY and must be dated no earlier than 14th October 2023) 

Please note: if the image is unclear, we may ask you to produce the original document for our records. 

The school will issue you with an e-mail receipt which should be kept for your records. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

St Mary's Catholic Primary School are publishing the Admissions Policy for 2025-2026 for consultation between 18th December and 27th January 2024.

If you wish to apply for a place at St Mary's School , but your child already attends another school, you will need to apply directly to the local authority:
