At St Mary’s, we aspire for our scientists to be curious, inquisitive, and independent learners who have a sense of awe and wonder, in order develop their understanding of the world around them.  Through working scientifically, our pupils develop critical thinking skills which allow them to apply their knowledge to different areas of the curriculum. Our curriculum is inclusive and aims to build on enquiry skills, through use of practical learning whilst reinforcing scientific vocabulary. Children at St Mary’s leave with a valued view of the impact of science in our day to day lives.
