At St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School we offer a high quality Modern Foreign Languages Education led by an Italian specialist. We believe the acquisition of a language can aid the development of communication which lay the foundation for future language learning, as well as extending knowledge of how language works works and discovering more about our own vocabulary and grammatical terms linking back to English. Learning another language raises awareness of the multilingual and mulitcultural world in which we all live and allows our children to see themselves as global citizens.
