Mission Statement 

‘With Jesus and through the prayers of Mary, we enjoy learning and celebrate our lives together.’ 

At the heart of our school Mission Statement, we see Jesus with His arms outstretched to all of us.  It is a reminder to us that Jesus is always with us, and we are guided by Jesus and His teachings, which are central to our life here at St. Mary's. 

When we look at the visual for our Mission Statement, we notice the symbols of home (representing our families), the Church (representing our Parish community) and the book (representing learning at our school).  

Our mission is not solely about individual achievements; it is about thriving together as a Catholic community.  We are called to celebrate and enjoy our lives collectively, thinking about how we can support each other.  

At St. Mary’s, we aim to build a growth mindset, build resilience and enable our children to become creative, critical thinkers. We build upon children’s prior learning, provide first hand learning experiences and allow the children to develop inter-personal skills, with Jesus at the centre.
